    Anouk Chambaz works with moving images, exploring the areas of friction between places, their inhabitants and their desires. She studied filmmaking at ECAL – University of Art and Design Lausanne and philosophy at La Sapienza University of Rome.

    In 2017, her film Vegetation Walk, co-directed with Julija Paskeviciute, received the Student Film Award at Vilnius International Film Festival. In 2022, she was awarded the Combat Prize in the video category for her film Marica, which received a special mention at the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival the following year. In 2025, she was nominated for The Talent Prize with Di Notte, which earned the EMAF Award at the 39th European Media Art Festival Osnabrück in 2026.

    Alongside her artistic research, she serves as a teaching assistant in the film department at ECAL – University of Art and Design Lausanne and curates the experimental programme of the Lausanne Underground Film & Music Festival. She is a member of Rasoir Bouée, a collective dedicated to supporting experimentation in cinema & sound.
